Day 4, the absurd, the cool & the business

It took a while, but I made it downtown to the torch, that big one "the great one" light. From a distance its great, but up close, I have no idea. Why you ask, well its fenced off.

We have an "absurd" amount of security. The area between our two beautiful convention centres and the extraordinary view of the North Shore, that place where people come from all over the world to see, even when we don't have the Olympics, can't.

Does this mean it will be fenced off forever more. Get a grip folks, you missed the point, visitors and ourselves need more access and after all it's about us, not you.

On the brighter side, I went to Northern House and made a video in a minute. They are emailing me a copy and its free, now that's cool! You can personalize it to family and friends. The green screen behind you puts you in the Arctic and that's even cooler, because it so beautiful. Definitely check this out.

After that, make your way downstairs, where you get to see the actual diamond cutting process by diamond cutters. There is also a theatre showing a film on own diamond industry and the billions they are raising around the world.

Our diamonds are as good or better than any in the world and the world wants them. The biggest reason the world wants them; is there's no blood attached. Now that's good business. Makes me proud of who we are.

See you tomorrow,

David
