They’re Listening: Few Driving to Vancouver

For a congested city of over 2.3 million people with no major highway carving into the heart of the city, it is unusual to see such little traffic. A drive from Tsawwassen to Vancouver’s west end was a breeze today. Not only was there little traffic, there appeared to be lots of parking spaces. Greg Weekes of AAA TravelViews warned “Driving is likely to turn into an endurance test.” Well, that may well be what happens once the Olympic start, but it is far form the truth today. Rarely can one stand in the middle of West Georgia and take a picture.
