Lunch on Granville St: No tickets but the food was good.

Despite the 8 degree temperature and light drizzle, locals and tourists are taking advantage of an outdoor cuisine. Granville street, which has been turned into a mall for the games, provides a wide selection of outdoor eating venues from smokies-on-the-walk to full, sit down lunch menus. Howard and Candy from Dunbar, Vancouver chose crapes - banana strawberry crape with chocolate sauce. In the spirit of keeping traffic to a minimum, they drove to the Canada Line and took rapid transit to the core of the city. Unfortunately, Howard is lamenting Candy having sold their semi-final hockey tickets. They got a reasonable price but I sense Howard would have preferred the game over the money. The good news was “the food is great”.
